Effective Monday, May 2, Fairfax County Public Schools will once again have chocolate milk available in elementary schools. Shenandoah Dairy has developed a new, low-fat chocolate milk that meets the district’s request to eliminate high fructose corn syrup without adding extra sugar. The new chocolate milk has been taste-tested by FCPS students.

The May school lunch menu will highlight this change. Middle and high schools will also receive the new milk as a substitute for the original chocolate milk.
