Chocolate Milk to Return to FCPS Elementary Schools

Effective Monday, May 2, Fairfax County Public Schools will once again have chocolate milk available in elementary schools.

Effective Monday, May 2, Fairfax County Public Schools will once again have chocolate milk available in elementary schools. Shenandoah Dairy has developed a new, low-fat chocolate milk that meets the district’s request to eliminate high fructose corn syrup without adding extra sugar. The new chocolate milk has been taste-tested by FCPS students.

The May school lunch menu will highlight this change. Middle and high schools will also receive the new milk as a substitute for the original chocolate milk.
