F.C. Couple to Be Featured in Upcoming Art Show

A Falls Church husband and wife will be featured in an upcoming art show in Alexandria.

A Falls Church husband and wife will be featured in an upcoming art show in Alexandria.

Green Spring Gardens Horticultural Center is featuring a joint display of landscape and floral watercolors by Carolyn Grossé Gawarecki and a variety of photographic subjects by Stephen J. Gawarecki.

The show opened March 1 and will be open through April 24, from noon – 4:30 p.m. daily. A meet the artists reception will be held Sunday, March 27, from 1 – 3:30 p.m.

Carolyn is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the Watercolor Honor Society. She taught watercolor painting at the Art League School in Alexandria and for the Falls Church City Recreation Department.

Stephen has established himself as a professional photographer. Several of his award-winning photographs from the recent USGS National Exhibition will be on display. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Photographic Society.

The main entrance to the Green Spring Gardens Horticultural Center is located on Witch Hazel Road off Braddock Road directly across from the Pinecrest Golf Course near the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Braddock Road in Alexandria.
