Pilar Cary finished her first trip to the U.S. as part of an exchange program between her native Uruguay and the U.S.

Pilar spent almost two weeks at George Mason High School noting many differences. In Uruguay, teachers move from classroom to classroom, while students stay put. And Cary likes teachers being able to decorate their rooms how they want. GMHS Spanish teacher Renata Carvalho will visit Uruguay later this year to complete the exchange.
