Mason Boys Win District Tournament

The George Mason High School boys basketball team won the Bull Run District Tournament tonight, knocking off Clarke County, 53-44.

 

The George Mason High School boys basketball team won the Bull Run District Tournament tonight, knocking off Clarke County, 53-44.

Despite losing the home court advantage after falling to Clarke last Thursday, the Mustangs fought back in the district tournament by topping Madison, 61-53, Wednesday and then besting Clarke in the championship game tonight.

The boys team joins the girls as Bull Run District Tournament winners this year, as the girls team won its tournament title against Clarke, 55-32, Thursday night.
