Mason Boys Win Semifinal Battle vs. Madison

The George Mason High School boys basketball team won its Bull Run District tournament semifinal game against Madison County Wednesday night, 61-53.

The boys team ended up in the semifinals after a loss to Clarke County, 41-34, last Thursday. In the game, the Mustangs lost the chance to host the tournament and win first their district title in a decade.

Now the Mustangs have another shot to play their rivals.

The district championship game will be played tomorrow, Friday, at Clarke County High School.
