McAuliffe to Keynote F.C. Dem Event

McLean resident Terry McAuliffe, the former chair of the Democratic National Committee and of the Hilary Clinton for President campaign, will be the keynote speaker at the April 3 Falls Church Democratic Committee’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, committee spokesmen indicated this week. McAuliffe is expected to run for governor of Virginia in 2013, and will enter the fray as the front-running Democrat after he failed to win the Democratic nomination for the governor’s race in 2009, losing to State Sen. Creigh Deeds.
