Two hundred Jazzercise instructors and customers performed at halftime and rocked the Verizon Center on Jan. 15, including a dozen members of the Falls Church Jazzercise Fitness Center.
Two hundred Jazzercise instructors and customers performed at halftime and rocked the Verizon Center on Jan. 15, including a dozen members of the Falls Church Jazzercise Fitness Center.
The halftime performance was part of an outreach effort for The Reading Connection, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and families by helping them create and sustain literacy-rich environments and motivation for reading.
This performance resulted in donations exceeding $1,800 dollars, in addition to adding over 100 books to their literacy programs.
