Longtime Fairfax Resident Caswell Stallings Dies

Caswell W. Stallings of Munson Road in Bailey’s Crossroads died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church.

He is survived by his newphews, DeMaris (Alonzo) Coley and Joseph Joyce, Jr. He is also survived by a special friend and caregiver Barbara Hamilton; two great-nieces, DeVeda and Kadira Coley; one great-nephew Alonzo (Renea) Coley, Jr.; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service for Mr. Stallings was held Thursday, Jan 6. at Second Baptist Church, 6626 Costner Drive in Falls Church with Rev. Samuel Barnhart officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Stallings had requested that donations be sent to the Second Baptist Building Fund.
