Residents Needed to Serve on Boards, Commissions

The Falls Church City Council is seeking volunteer City residents to serve on several boards and commissions.

The Falls Church City Council is seeking volunteer City residents to serve on several boards and commissions.

Those interested can contact the City Clerk, Kathleen Buschow (703-248-5014, or email cityclerk@fallschurchva.gov) or go to fallschurchva.gov for an application form or more information.

Requests for reappointments must also be made through the City Clerk. Volunteers are needed to serve on the following bodies:

Architectural Advisory Board (alternate); Citizens’ Advisory Committee on Transportation; City Employee Review Board; Environmental Services Council; Falls Church Cable Access Corporation Board; Girls’ Home Advisory Board; Historic Architectural Review Board; Historical Commission; Housing Commission; Human Services Advisory Council; Local Board of Building Code Appeals; Private School and Day Care Facility Board; Recreation and Parks Advisory Board; Senior Citizens Commission; and Towing Advisory Board.

Volunteers are also being sought for two regional positions with Fairfax Area Commission on Aging and Health Systems Agency of Northern Virginia.
