Parents, Community Members Sought for Committees

Falls Church City Public Schools is looking for volunteers to serve on committees which will look at two aspects of its educational plans – its Social Studies curriculum and its elementary mathematics textbooks.

Falls Church City Public Schools is looking for volunteers to serve on committees which will look at two aspects of its educational plans – its Social Studies curriculum and its elementary mathematics textbooks.

Regularly scheduled curriculum studies are conducted for each major program area. The Social Studies Curriculum Study will begin in February 2011. A parent from each of the four schools is asked to participate in this comprehensive review process. The Mathematics Department is planning to review elementary textbooks.

Interested parents and community members are being asked to participate in this comprehensive review process scheduled to begin late January/early February 2011.
