The Greater Falls Church Branch of the American Association of University Women is sponsoring a free introduction to Zumba this coming weekend.

The public is invited to join the group for a fun way to get moving and lose holiday pounds.

The class will be held at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St., Falls Church, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance workout that combines international music with basic dance steps to create a fitness routine. This session will be taught by Deandra Brooks, a certified group fitness instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America as well as by Zumba Fitness.
