ZIPS Dry Cleaners Collecting Garments for Homeless Vets

ZIPS Dry Cleaners of Falls Church is collecting gently used coats, sweaters, flannel shirts and sweaters for homeless veterans to benefit the Winterhaven 2011 Homeless Stand Down at the Washington, D.C., VA Medical Center on Jan. 22.

ZIPS Dry Cleaners of Falls Church is collecting gently used coats, sweaters, flannel shirts and sweaters for homeless veterans to benefit the Winterhaven 2011 Homeless Stand Down at the Washington, D.C., VA Medical Center on Jan. 22.

ZIPS, located at 6347 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, will be collecting garments and cleaning them for the remainder of the month so that homeless veterans can have something warm to wear as the temperatures continue to drop.

Community members can drop off garments at the local ZIPS from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. and can call the store at 703-256-5863 for more information.
