McLean Community Center to Offer Winter Break Activities

The McLean Community Center will be offering a number full-day or half-day winter break camps. Camps will be held Monday, Dec. 27, through Wednesday, Dec. 29. The center is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave.

The McLean Community Center will be offering a number full-day or half-day winter break camps. Camps will be held Monday, Dec. 27, through Wednesday, Dec. 29. The center is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave.

The center’s half-day camp, for children ages 4 through 6, will be held from 9 a.m. – noon; the full-day camp, for children ages 5 through 9, will be held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The daily fee for the half-day camp is $40 and $30 for McLean district residents; the fee for the full-day camp is $60 per day and $50 for McLean district residents. Advance registration is required.

In addition, the Old Firehouse Teen Center will offer winter break trips for fifth- through eighth-grade students. The day trips to Shadowland on Monday, Dec. 27, Sportrock on Tuesday, Dec. 28 and to Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Wednesday, Dec. 29, will be supervised by OFTC staff. Teens may sign up for one or all three day trips.
