City Resident Struck By Van Dies

accidentwestbroadA Falls Church City resident died last night after being struck by a van while crossing West Broad Street.

The victim was crossing West Broad Street in the middle of the 400 block and was hit and killed by the vehicle about 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, according to Falls Church Police. The victim’s name is not being released until the family is notified.

Broad Street was closed in both directions for a couple of hours during the police investigation.

The police investigation is continuing. There are no charges at this time.
