PHOTOS: A Civil War Thanksgiving

The event, presented by The Victorian Society at Falls Church, The Falls Church Historical Commission, and The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department, was held Saturday afternoon at the farmhouse. Guests were invited to travel back in time to witness Civil War soldiers being invited into the house for a Thanksgiving meal. About 150 visitors interacted with actors portraying different Civil War-era characters and learned about the travel, dress and technology of the time. More photos inside.
