The middle schoolers spent the fall building a LEGO robot and programmed it to achieve a certain number of missions.

With the help of Pam Wilkie, Eileen Zaenger and Charles Morrill, the team, called The Atomic Monkeys, came in fourth overall. They received a trophy for being first in the Research Project category and placed second in the Robot Performance category. They were chosen as alternates for the state competition.
