Fairfax County Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a McLean bank.

Fairfax County Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a McLean bank.

According to police reports, a man entered Wachovia Bank (1300 Chain Bridge Road) at 9:13 a.m. Wednesday morning and demanded money from two female tellers, 42 and 63, while brandishing a gun. He left with an undisclosed sum of money. No one was injured.

Police say the suspect was described as a black male in his mid to late 30s, who stands about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs between 150 and 170 pounds.

Reports say he was wearing an “elderly white man” costume mask and dark clothing.

Robbery detectives believe this suspect may be connected to other robberies in the area.
