Sunday Soiree dances, sponsored by the McLean Community Center, are the perfect way for couples and others to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Sunday Soiree dances, sponsored by the McLean Community Center, are the perfect way for couples and others to spend a Sunday afternoon. The next dance will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21. Admission is $5 at the door. The center is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave.These casual dances feature live music by local ensembles and are themed to various musical eras. The theme of this month’s soiree is Cab Calloway, His Highness of Hep, and features the music of the famous jazz singer and band leader known for “Minnie the Moocher” and “The Jumpin Jive,” among other hits.
