GMHS Grad Runs in Big East Conference Race

Former George Mason High School (Class of 2008) cross country and track star Susanna Sullivan recently participated in the Big East Conference Championship Cross Country race in Syracuse, N.Y., running for the University of Notre Dame.

Former George Mason High School (Class of 2008) cross country and track star Susanna Sullivan recently participated in the Big East Conference Championship Cross Country race in Syracuse, N.Y., running for the University of Notre Dame.

A junior, Sullivan, 20, ran the course in which the nine-member varsity Fighting Irish team came in sixth of 16 teams. The Georgetown University women’s team came in second. Villanova came in first.

Sullivan runs cross country and long distances for the Notre Dame track team in the winter and spring seasons. Majoring in Political Science and Psychology, she also serves as an officer on the Notre Dame Judicial Council and is an intern this semester in the district offices of U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly (D), of Indiana.
