Fairfax GOP Chair Calls Connolly Vote ‘Into Question’

Noting that the final canvass of votes cast in the 11th Congressional District of Northern Virginia is still underway while Democratic Incumbent Rep. Gerry Connolly was reported by the Virginia State Election Board having received almost 1,000 votes more than his GOP rival Keith Fimian, Fairfax Republican Chair Anthony Bedell issued a statement today stressing that the canvass is not yet complete, and claiming that “there are several developments…that may call into question the accuracy of the vote count totals.”
