Mustangs Muster Stand Against Drugs, Dress Up

George Mason High School’s Red Ribbon Week kicked off Monday, with “Wear Red” Day. Sponsored by the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club, the week is dedicated to advocating students’ smart decisions about drug awareness.

George Mason High School’s Red Ribbon Week kicked off Monday, with “Wear Red” Day. Sponsored by the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club, the week is dedicated to advocating students’ smart decisions about drug awareness.

Dress-up days included “80s Day” Tuesday and “Dress Like a Rock Star” Wednesday, with Thursday being “Nerd Day” and Friday boasting a “Halloween” theme. Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School and Thomas Jefferson Elementary had their Red Ribbon Weeks last week, each participating in different dress-up themes to raise the same drug awareness to students.
