Mason High Girls & Boys Win Regional Cross Country Championships

After taking the Bull Run District titles last Wednesday, the George Mason High School girls and boys cross country teams swept the Virginia A Region B championship today at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville.

Mason sophomore Julie Estrada was the top finisher on the girls team while senior Jordan Robarge led the boys squad.

With the titles, both teams qualified for the Virginia State Championship next Saturday, Nov. 13 at Great Meadows.

In addition, Mason coach Julie Bravin was named the Region B Region B Girls Coach of the Year. Last week, Bravin picked up honors as the Bull Run District’s girls top coach.
