F.C. Council, Schools Key Joint Session Monday

This Monday, Nov. 1, the Falls Church City Council and School Board will meet together for a major, trend-setting effort at establishing the parameters for the annual budget deliberations next spring. The meeting will be held at the cafetorium of the Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School at 7 p.m.

With major projected budget shortfalls expected both in the current fiscal year and the one beginning next July 1, it will be a big challenge for the Council and School Board to hold the line on the quality of education in Falls Church, and it can be expected there will be some strong differences expressed at this Monday’s meeting.
