Congressional Debates on Cable ‘On Demand’

The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday that, in partnership with Cox Communications and TBD (formerly NewsChannel8), the Oct. 12 Congressional debates that it hosted will be available “On Demand” to Cox cable TV customers in Fairfax County and Falls Church.

The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday that, in partnership with Cox Communications and TBD (formerly NewsChannel8), the Oct. 12 Congressional debates that it hosted will be available “On Demand” to Cox cable TV customers in Fairfax County and Falls Church. Bruce DePuyt, host of NewsTalk on TBD, moderated the debates between the candidates for the 8th Congressional District, Congressman Jim Moran and his challenger Partick Murray, and the 11th Congressional District, Congressman Gerry Connolly and his challenger Keith Fimian. The debates were held at the new Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel on the campus of George Mason University. Over 200 business leaders and elected officials were in attendance.
