This Saturday, Oct. 16, the George C. Marshall High School Class of 1970 will celebrate its 40-year reunion at Ned Devine’s Irish Bar (2465 Centreville Rd., Herndon), with festivities scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m.

This Saturday, Oct. 16, the George C. Marshall High School Class of 1970 will celebrate its 40-year reunion at Ned Devine’s Irish Bar (2465 Centreville Rd., Herndon), with festivities scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m.

A portion of the club will be set aside for reunion-goers’ exclusive use, with the provision of a private cash bar and outdoor patio. Dinner will not be provided for revelers, but in addition to the club’s established menu, Ned’s is within walking distance of nearly two dozen restaurants and coffee bars. The bar, which offers drink specials from 4 – 8 p.m. and live music after 10 p.m., will ensure Marshall alumni are acknowledged when they enter the restaurant.

Also, a non-alcoholic tailgate party is planned for Friday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Marshall High School (7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church) prior to the start of its homecoming football game versus McLean High School. After the game, celebrants will gather at Mad Fox Brewery (444 W. Broad St., Falls Church).
