Award-winning artist and Falls Church Arts member Seth Haverkamp will demonstrate his technique and discuss his approach to painting at ArtSpace this Thursday, Oct. 14. This event is free and open to all. Seth’s remarkable work will also be on exhibit through October 24. Seth was a student of Nelson Shanks at his Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia. The editor of American Artist magazine, Stephen Doherty, has said of him, “I haven’t seen this much promise in a young artist in a long time.” Seth’s painting “Echo” won Best of Show at the 2008 Portrait Competition of the Portrait Society of America.
