Tommy looks like he just drank a big bowl of cream. Actually, his white mustache is just part of his handsome features. This little guy is a Maine Coon, which is said to be one of the oldest breeds of cat in North America, thought to be a native of the state of Maine. The breed is also the official Maine State Cat. Maine Coon cats are known to be tall and muscular kitties. It is said that males can commonly reach between 13 – 18 pounds, while females will normally weigh about 9 – 12 pounds. Tommy is owned by the Potrykuses of Falls Church. His owners say he is a hilariously lazy and adorable guy. While Maine Coons are people-friendly cats, they are not overly dependent. Maine Coons are said to be relaxed and easy going in just about everything they do, which Tommy argues might be misinterpreted as being lazy.
