F.C. Resident Mary Hood Dies at 83

Visitation, Funeral Services to be Held Over Weekend

Mary Frances Zoll Hood, a Falls Church resident for over 50 years, died at home on Sept. 27. Visitation will be at Murphy’s Funeral Home, located at 1102 West Broad Street in the City of Falls Church, this Saturday, Oct. 2, from 3 – 5 p.m.

Visitation, Funeral Services to be Held Over Weekend

Mary Frances Zoll Hood, a Falls Church resident for over 50 years, died at her home on Sept. 27. Visitation will be at Murphy’s Funeral Home, located at 1102 West Broad Street in the City of Falls Church, this Saturday, Oct. 2, from 3 – 5 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 6201 Washington Boulevard in Arlington, this Sunday, Oct. 3, from 2 – 3 p.m. The family will host a reception following the funeral service on Sunday at the residence. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.

Hood was born on Jan. 22, 1927. She was 83 years old when she passed away.
