Annual F.C. Farm Day Just Over 2 Weeks Away

In just about two weeks, the City of Falls Church Recreation & Parks Department will host its annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave., Falls Church) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free.

In just about two weeks, the City of Falls Church Recreation & Parks Department will host its annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave., Falls Church) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free.

This family event features blacksmith demonstrations, horse-drawn hayrides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making and a petting zoo. Children can learn basic farming skills such as corn-husking, beekeeping, and apple butter making. Tours of the historic Cherry Hill Farmhouse and Barn are also offered.
