James Madison H.S. Hosts ‘Mad 5k’ Event

James Madison High School’s Mad 5K Run & One-Mile Walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. this Saturday, Sept. 18, at the school (2500 James Madison Dr., Vienna). The race, which will benefit the award-winning Madison H.S. track team and raise money for a new track/cross country facility, features a gently rolling course starting and ending at the high school stadium.

James Madison High School’s Mad 5K Run & One-Mile Walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. this Saturday, Sept. 18, at the school (2500 James Madison Dr., Vienna). The race, which will benefit the award-winning Madison H.S. track team and raise money for a new track/cross country facility, features a gently rolling course starting and ending at the high school stadium.

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers, as well as age group awards. T-shirts and refreshments will be available for all. The entry fee is $15 for students and $20 for adults. Those interested can register by visiting fcps.edu/MadisonHS/News/MAD_5k_form.htm or calling Coach Craig Chasse at craig.chasse@fcps.edu.
