F.C. Expects $130k for Low Income Assistance

The City of Falls Church announced this week it expects to receive about $130,000 in combined federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership funds available next July 1, it was announced this week. The aid is designed to assist residents with low and moderate incomes, and can be used for housing development, rental assistance, social services, economic development and public services. The City is now soliciting proposals to be considered for funding, with forms available on the City’s website or by calling (703) 248-5005. The deadline for submissions is noon Friday, Sept. 17.
