F.C. Block Party Raises $ for Lost Dog & Cat Foundation

A neighborhood block-party benefit for the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation will he be held in the 200 block of Gundry Drive in the City of Falls Church following the Farmers market this Saturday Aug. 28 at 11 a.m.

A neighborhood block-party benefit for the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation will he be held in the 200 block of Gundry Drive in the City of Falls Church following the Farmers market this Saturday Aug. 28 at 11 a.m.

Sponsors of the event include BJ’s Wholesale, Meat in a Box, Ledo Pizza and Frank Zoghi, “Your Frank Realtor.”

It would be appreciated if attendees would donate $2 or more in the form of a check, made out to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.

David Estoclet from BJ’s Corporate membership promotion will be at the event to sign up residents for its new store opening Oct. 12 in Falls Church. For every membership signed on the day of the event, BJ’s will be donating $5 to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue foundation.

Meat in a Box will be there and providing limited food. Ledo Pizza has also donated a few pies for the event. In addition, there will be a bake sale, moonbounce and face painting for children to enjoy. This event is open to the public.
