F.C. Street Paving Schedule Announced

The City of Falls Church will be paving City streets from Aug. 16-27. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. During this period, there will be no parking allowed on posted streets during working hours. All streets will remain open to traffic and residents and businesses will have access to driveways and entrances.

The limits of work and tentative schedule for each street are as follows: Ellison Street, S. West St to Fowler St, Mon 8/16 & Tue 8/17; Jackson Street, Timber Lane to S. Washington St., Tue 8/17 & Wed 8/18; E. Columbia St., N Cherry St. to N. Underwood St, Wed. 8/18 & Thur. 8/19; Buxton Road, Forest Dr. to Tyson Dr., Thur. 8/19 & Fri 8/20; Buxton Road, Tyson Dr. to Villa Ridge Rd., Thur 8/19 & Fri 8/20; N. Maple Ave., W. Broad St. to Great Falls St., Mon 8/23 & Tue 8/24; Great Falls St., Little Falls St. to Riley St., Mon. 8/23 & Tue. 8/24. Wednesday, Aug. 25-Friday, Aug. 27 will be used as make-up days as required.
