Winner: Memorial Day Parade & Festival

This past May, the City of Falls Church celebrated its 29th Annual Memorial Day Parade & Festival- one of the the largest Memorial Day celebrations in the area.

The City’s biggest day of the year is also the favorite of our readers, with the event bringing in an estimated 15,000 attendants.

Whether it’s Don Beyer’s annual 3K Fun Run kicking off the day, the food carts offering up an assortment of “oh, why did I eat that?” goodness, the live bands, or the highly entertaining parade including clowns, drum troops, Bolivan dancers, the racing Kena’s and, of course, Underdog, the Falls Church celebration has something for everyone.
