F.C’s T.J. Elementary Back to Normal After Morning Lockdown

It’s back to normal for the students and staff at Falls Church’s Thomas Jefferson Elementary before 11 a.m. this morning after a lockdown occured this morning in response to a call to F.C. Police from a local resident. The resident claimed to see an unidentified person wearing a utility camoflage vest, a helmet and an assault rifle on Seaton Lane near the school. A lockdown was ordered, with students being escorted from their classrooms to a central location while F.C. Police searched the area. Northing was found, and the students have been returned to their classes to resume normal activities for the remainder of the day, according to the F.C. Public Information Office.
