On Sunday, July 18, the Falls Church-Annandale (FCA) Babe Ruth 15U All Star team advanced to the Virginia state tournament by defeating Greater Fairfax 7-2. FCA starter Mimi Azor turned in four solid innings on the mound, with Kekoa Yamaguchi and Michael Evans combining to close out the game. Offensively, FCA was led by Josh Cook who scored three runs and Daniel Becker who hit a three-run triple to break open the game.
