Brinkley’s Lounge to Turn Into English Pub

Brinkley’s Restaurant and Lounge, a diner by day and self-described “dive bar” by night located at 6315 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, will be renovated and turned into an English Pub.

After the sudden passing of long time owner/operator Hemm Shah, Brinkley’s is under new ownership. Public House No. 7 will offer traditional English pub fare such as Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips, and Lancashire Hot Pot, and British beers along with some American items in an English pub style atmosphere. The new primary owner is Falls Church resident Mark English who is originally from northern England. He is a classically trained chef who has worked at Kinkead’s in D.C. and as Head Chef of Rhodeside Grill in Arlington. The new restaurant and pub is scheduled to open in early September.
