Arlington County Manager Dashes Plan to Relocate Columbia Pike Library

In a statement today, Arlington County Manager Michael Brown announced he’s withdrawing a proposal to relocate the Columbia Pike Branch Library to Arlington Mill.

In a statement today, Arlington County Manager Michael Brown announced he’s withdrawing a proposal to relocate the Columbia Pike Branch Library to Arlington Mill. After soliciting public input, including with civic associations and through social media, Brown said, “The public sentiment was strong and clear: people are passionate about this facility in its current location. While continuing plans to develop a community center at Arlington Mill, Brown said, “The library will continue to offer services at its current branch location with no change in scope or format.”
