F.C. Police Seek Dog Who Bit Boy

The Falls Church Animal Control Officer is seeking information concerning a dog which bit a young boy in Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Ave. in Falls Church yesterday, Wednesday, June 16, about 6:30 p.m. The dog was with its owner who was sitting on a park bench near the playground area at the time of the incident.

The description of the dog and owner is as follows: White male with light hair wearing glasses, a black T-shirt and jeans.  The dog was described as a sandy colored poodle type dog with curly hair and a curly tail.

The owner stated to the boy that the dog’s name was “Sandy” and the dog was on a leather leash.  The owner of the dog may not even know that the dog bit the boy on the hand. The victim may have to undergo rabies inoculations if the dog is not located.
