Mason Boys Tennis Blanks Randolph Henry; Wins Region

Add another regional title to George Mason High School’s 2010 tally; the boys tennis team shut down Randolph Henry High School Friday, 6-0, to take the Region B title.

In just one week, the Mustangs brought home four regional titles as the boys and girls soccer teams and the girls and boys tennis teams each won regional crowns.

For the Mustangs, in singles, it was Kan Tagami over D. Dunavant (6-1, 6-2), Sam Waters over N. Baker (6-0, 6-1), Jay Rodock ove. G. Pugh (6-2, 6-2), Eric Gemond over J. Tuck (6-1, 6-2), Tommy Weber over X. Lin (6-0, 6-0) and Miles Butler over A. Berkeley (6-0, 5-0).

The team now advances to the Virginia State Tournament to be played in Radford later this week.
