Mason Girls Tennis Blanks Riverheads, Moves On to Regional Final

George Mason High School’s girls tennis team shut out Riverheads High, 6-0, Saturday in a regional semifinal match and will play in the Virginia Region B final next Friday.

For the Mustangs, Kelsey Kane won 6-1, 6-0, Claire Pribulka won 6-2, 6-2, Claire Sedmak won 6-3, 6-3, Alexa Shaffer won 6-2, 6-4, Nathalie Lesgourgues won 6-1, 6-0 and Jessica Lim won 6-0, 6-0.

Mason will face Nelson County in the championship Friday, June 4 at 2:30 p.m. in Lovingston, Va.
