Over 150 attended the 8th Congressional District GOP convention at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria Saturday and re-elected Mike Ginsberg as the 8th District chair. Among the two GOP candidates vying for their party’s nomination in June to run against incumbent Rep. Jim Moran, Matthew Berry prevailed over Patrick Murray in a straw poll conducted at Saturday’s gathering.
