City of Falls Church, Va. Crime Report for May 11-May 17, 2010

Tampering with Auto, 200 blk. N. Underwood St., May 11 between 4:25 a.m., and 6:13 a.m., unknown person(s) entered four unsecured vehicles, but no items were taken.  A W/M with long, stringy, light brown/blond hair, wearing a white sweatshirt was seen in the area at the time of the offense.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. N. Van Buren St., between May 10, 7:00 p.m., and May 11 6:20 a.m., unknown person(s) entered an unsecured vehicle, and stole a black purse containing $200, and several credit cards.  The purse was later recovered, without its contents.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 6900 blk. 26th St., between May 10, 10:30 p.m., and May 11, 8:25 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a tan 1998 Toyota SUV from the victims driveway.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. Garden Ct., between May 10, 7:00p.m., and May 11, 9:00a.m., unknown person(s) stole four CD’s from an unsecured vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 6900 blk. Little Falls Rd., between May 7, 5:00 a.m., and May 11, 6:00 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a sign from the rear of a fire truck.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. James Thurber Ct., May 11, 12:46 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a Virginia Lerner’s Permit, and $2.00 in change from an unsecured vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 300 blk. N. Maple Ave., May 11, 1:27 p.m., unknown person(s) stole an Apple iPod from a vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. Garden Ct., May 11, 1:00 a.m., and May 12, 3:00 p.m., unknown person stole a Handicap Permit from an unsecured vehicle.

Urinating in Public, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., May 15, 11:05 p.m., police arrested a male, 42, of Upper Marlboro, MD. for Urinating in Public.
