Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education, will make a visit to George Mason High School in Falls Church tomorrow morning. The purpose of the visit is to honor teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week. According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Education, Duncan “will join parents, students, administrators and public officials across the country to honor and acknowledge the work of America’s more than five million teachers. He will visit a number of classrooms at GMHS during a half-hour stopover.

It is Duncan’s second visit to a Falls Church area high school in three months. On February 2, he visited Falls Church High School, where he spoke to and took questions from students and news reporters.
