Shields Presents Menu of Budget Options To F.C. Council at Work Session Tonight

Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields will present a 17-page memo outlining a menu of budget options for the F.C. City Council at its work session tonight at City Hall. There is no advance information about the array of options that will be based on the level of real estate tax rate increase the Council will prefer to adopt. There is no public comment received at work sessions, and a follow-on work session will be held Monday night. Consideration of the GEORGE Bus Task Force’s recommendations, of an ordinance to amend special exception options for off-street parking and loading, and of a citywide pedestrian plan contract award will also be on tonight’s lengthy agenda.
