Younger Brother of F.C.’s Mike Curtin Dies from Heart Attack in Arlington

Falls Church’s Mike Curtin, a former business owner and Chamber of Commerce activist who in recent years has been the executive director of the D.C. Central Kitchen, confirmed in an email tonight that his younger brother, Kevin Curtin, died yesterday afternoon following a massive heart attack he suffered on Monday.

Falls Church’s Mike Curtin, a former business owner and Chamber of Commerce activist who in recent years has been the executive director of the D.C. Central Kitchen, confirmed in an email tonight that his younger brother, Kevin Curtin, died yesterday afternoon following a massive heart attack he suffered on Monday. He was surrounded by family and friends as he passed away, described by Mike Curtin as “an awesome brother, a compassionate friend, a caring son, a doting unvle and a loving father and husband…the rock of our extended family.”

A viewing has been scheduled for Sunday, March 14, from 2-4 p.m. at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, and a funeral scheduled for Monday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3304 Washington Blvd., Arlington.
