Kaylin, Barry Announce Plans to ‘Share Common Platform’ in Run for F.C. City Council

On the eve of the filing deadline today, City of Falls Church citizen activists Ira Kaylin and Johanna Barry confirmed to the News-Press that they will both be running as “independents” for the F.C. City Council in the May 4 election. Kaylin said in a note to the News-Press today that the two will run independently but will “share a common platform.” The addition of Kaylin brings to nine the number of probable candidates seeking four seats in the F.C. Council in the upcoming election.
