City of Falls Church, Va. Crime Report for February 16 – 22, 201

Burglary, Residential, 500 blk. Meridian St., February 17, between 6:45 a.m. and 10:20 p.m., unknown person(s) entered into an unoccupied dwelling and stole a 32″ LCD TV and a pair of Cowboy Boots.  Incident to the case, the suspect(s) also stole a black 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 100 blk. Gresham Pl., February 18, 4:50 a.m., police recovered a stolen 1992 Honda Civic from Prince William County.

Drunkenness, 200 blk. Douglas Ave., February 18, 6:04 p.m., police arrested Charles N. Huff, 59, of NO FIXED ADDRESS for DIP.

Burglary, Residential, 100 blk. W George Mason Rd., between February 18, 6:30 p.m. and February 19, 6:58 a.m., unknown person(s) entered an unoccupied dwelling and stole numerous tools and equipment.

Larceny, Shoplifting, Giant Food, 1230 W Broad St., February 18, 12:58 p.m., police arrested a male, 40, of Annandale, VA for Felony Shoplifting and Driving Habitual Offender.  Incident to the case, police arrested a male, 41, of Falls Church, VA for Misdemeanor Assault and Felony Shoplifting.

Larceny, Shoplifting, Anime Pavilion, 115 Hillwood Ave., February 19, 8:36 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the established and stole (2) tins of Yugioh trading cards totaling $30.

Driving under the Influence, 900 blk. W Broad St., February 20, 1:20 a.m., police arrested a male, 20, of VA for DUI, Refusal and Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Larceny from Building, H&R Block, 356 W Broad St., February 18, between 3:40 p.m. and 9:25 p.m., unknown person(s) stole $245 cash.

Destruction of Property, Falls Church Public Schools, 7124 Leesburg Pike, between February 20, 5:30 p.m. and February 21, 2:32 p.m., unknown person(s) flattened the tires on (8) school buses.
