FALLS CHURCH H.S.

The Falls Church High School boys basketball team defeated Washington-Lee 63-55 at home Tuesday to improve the team’s record to 5-15.

The Jagaurs are at Hayfield on Thursday at 8 p.m. for the first round of the National District tournament. The Falls Church girls basketball team fell to Washington-Lee 56-28 Tuesday, dropping its record to 2-16. The Jaguars are at Edison at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to open the National District tournament.

MCLEAN H.S.

The McLean High School boys basketball team defeated Fairfax on home on Tuesday 65-49 to improve its record to 7-9. The Highlanders return to action on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Stonebridge to open Liberty District play. The McLean girls high school team dropped to Fairfax 56-49 at home on Tuesday. The Lady Highlanders, are now 10-8. The girls team will be at Langley on Thursday at 5:45 p.m. to open the Liberty District tournament.
