Falls Church High Diver 1st to Qualify for States in Decade

For the first time in at least a decade, Falls Church High School is sending one of its diving team stars to the Virginia state championship later this month.

Sophomore Maggie Cullather successfully defended her National District Championship last night at the district meet held at Washington-Lee High School, breaking the Falls Church record with a score of 3.45.

The state meet will take place in Virginia Beach from Feb. 19 – 21. Tonight, Jan. 29, the Falls Church swim team travels to Washington-Lee for the district preliminaries, with the district swimming championship on Saturday.
